Freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and daily house-made soups… Owner and operator Lorella Deleon has a small but mighty kitchen at Cafe Lorel. This month, she will be celebrating 11 years at her location, which sees many regulars. And I can see why. With its large menu and rotating specials, you can eat something different 5 days a week (closed Saturday and Sunday).

Let’s start our menu journey with the house-made soups. Lorella serves 2 selections per day from her personal soup recipes– there are about a dozen!

The local favorites are Roasted Poblano Chowder, Tomato Basil Bisque, and Chicken Noodle. On Tuesdays, she offers a vegetarian soup such as Loaded Potato and Minestrone.

The regulars’ favorite meal is the Daily Lunch Special. It includes ½ sandwich, soup or salad and drink. Every Friday, Lorella offers a home-style special like Chicken Pot Pie, Tri-tip Sandwich, or Lasagna. Call ahead to find out what’s on special today!

And for dessert, baked fresh every day are treats like cinni-minis, carrot cake, and nutella turnovers. What else? Cafe Lorel offers catering for breakfast and lunch. Wi-Fi is available inside and on the patio. You just might find yourself eating here every day.
