What’s New and Exciting at LBX!
After celebrating its official grand opening in early 2019, Long Beach Exchange has quickly become a hit with locals and visitors alike. With more than 40 carefully curated restaurants, shops and fitness concepts, LBX has something for everyone.
Now that fall is here and the holidays are just around the corner, it’s time to see all that Long Beach Exchange has to offer. Get a head start on your holiday shopping at T.J. Maxx, Nordstrom Rack, ULTA Beauty and more! Tired from shopping? Enjoy a quick bite at one of the dozen eateries located inside of The Hangar – a communal structure, reminiscent of an aviation hangar which is home to a variety of food and drink purveyors in addition to a couple of rotating pop-up shops.

New Tenants + Grand Openings
Georgia’s Restaurant has been serving their famous “soul-delicious” dishes for the past five years in Anaheim while reimagining and redefining the public’s perception of Southern Soul Food. Now Georgia’s is Restaurant has extended its family and is celebrating its fifth anniversary with the opening of its second location at LBX.
Blue Bowl Superfoods is now open inside The Hangar! If you’re looking for a quick, refreshing bite that leaves you feeling energized, look no further – Blue Bowl Superfoods has opened its location at Long Beach Exchange. Blue Bowl’s delectable superfood bowls are available to the Long Beach community Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (closed Sundays).
Old Navy officially opened its doors at LBX giving adults and kids a trusted source for the latest fashion trends. Guests can shop new styles Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Navy Federal Credit Union, whose mission is to serve and enrich the lives of the military community, is the largest natural member credit union in the United States. Now, the Long Beach military community can enjoy the convenience of having Navy Federal Credit Union at LBX!
Silverlake Ramen, L.A.’s favorite ramen spot, officially opens its doors at Long Beach Exchange on Monday, September 30. This will be its sixth location, but there are several new locations set to open within the next year. Silverlake Ramen specializes in creating ramen that embodies delicious quality with traditional ingredients.
Wahoo’s Fish Taco, a fast-casual eatery and SoCal hotspot, will be opening this fall at LBX. With locations throughout Northern and Southern California, as well as in Colorado, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Hawaii and Japan, Wahoo’s is sure to be a hit at this diverse shopping and dining destination.
Plancha Latin Kitchen, serving authentic flavors from all over Latin America in a fast-casual environment, will further diversify LBX this fall. Alongside its flavorful cuisine, the restaurant will also offer beer, wine, sangria and Aguas Frescas.
Kembali Collective is bringing Bali to Long Beach! This new pop-up shop located inside The Hangar sells a curation of handmade home décor products and accessories that were discovered in the Indonesian Culture and are sourced directly from Bali. Open now through February, be sure to stop by Monday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Long Beach Exchange is also home to a variety of unique fitness offerings and apparel including Orangetheory Fitness, GritCycle, Ra Yoga and Runners High with even more coming soon!
Upcoming Events + Programming
Halloween! During the spooky season, there’s Tricks ‘n Treats at LBX! Join Long Beach Exchange for some spook-tacular fun on Saturday, October 19 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. where kids in costume are welcome to trick-or-treat at participating businesses throughout The Hangar and Long Beach Exchange while enjoying a live DJ playing fun, seasonal tunes.
Small Business Saturday! If you’re a frequent reader of The 908 Magazine, you know we love small businesses. LBX supports our local businesses by hosting a Shop + Dine Small Saturday event! In recognition of AMEX’s annual Shop Small Saturday, LBX brings you Shop + Dine Small Saturday on November 30 in celebration of the various small retailers and restaurants throughout LBX. The community is invited to enjoy live music while dining and shopping in support of these independent businesses.
Holiday Season! When the holidays roll around, experience Holiday Fun at Long Beach Exchange! On Friday, December 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., photographer Alison Bernier will return to LBX to host complimentary holiday mini photo sessions for little ones and families alike. December 8, 13 and 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., stop by LBX and take part in a holiday-themed photo booth! And to make sure guests are in the holiday spirit, all four dates will include enjoy live festive music to enjoy!
