Mark your calendar and clear your schedule, on Saturday, March 23 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. J&L Jewelry will be hosting their annual Spring Trunk Show.
The deal-stealing occasion takes place three times a year; in the Fall, Spring, and Summer. During the event J&L Jewelry clears almost all jewelry from their showcases while vendors drive by and flood the cases with limited edition pieces and sparkling collectibles. Not to mention everything is 20 to 50 percent off.
“It’s a very cool event because the customers get to see what the owners see when the vendors stop by,” said owner Janis Krantz. “Although this time customers get to look around and pick out what they want to buy.”
Vendors such as Royal Chain and Adore by Natalie are expected to be displaying their jewelry in the showcases. CZ Gold & Trading Company will be presenting their sterling silver and cubic zirconia pieces. While WISH, a customer favorite, will be featuring their low-end costume jewelry on showcase tops.
“It provides customers with a great opportunity to pick out stuff that they want,” Krantz said. “Even if you don't have money, you can still write down the model number for future purchasing online.”
J&L Jewelry is expected to unveil roughly a thousand new pieces of jewelry for that one day only. Local eatery Ma and Pa’s will be providing a delicious lunch for all customers to enjoy- their famous corn beef and cabbage, potatoes, vegetables and soda bread. All day long you can sip on bubbly mimosas and meet new friends while you shop.
“Most jewelry stores are stuffy and crammed, we like to be different,” Krantz said. “Customers get to sit out in the front, eat and visit. It’s like a throwback to the good old times.”
