Crazy, but the best men’s volleyball team in the country lives right here in Long Beach!
On Friday, January 25th at 7 pm, the defending National Champion Long Beach State men’s volleyball team hosts USC in its home opener at the Walter Pyramid. There will be an NCAA National Championship banner reveal and fans in attendance will receive a replica banner so DO NOT MISS OUT.
LBSU is 6-0 so far this season after a big win on the road at UCLA last weekend. In a National Championship rematch, the Beach completed a 29-27, 25-22, 25-17 sweep of the Bruins. Senior outside TJ DeFalco led the way with 13 kills, five blocks, and an ace, while senior setter Josh Tuaniga paced the offense with 26 assists.
