The Aquarium of the Pacific is hosting a 13th Annual Moompetam Festival to celebrate the rich traditions and roots of those native to the soil that we now call home. Enjoy cultural crafts, storytelling, educational programs, live demos, music, dance and more. Six indigenous maritime tribes will be celebrated during the event, including the Tongva. Gather the troops and head over to shady El Dorado Park for a family portrait picnic, which includes food, drinks, a professional photographer, bounce houses and more. Maybe save the excitement of the bounce house and food for AFTER the photo, especially if you have little ones.
