Belmont Shore Stroll and Savor

Wednesday and Thursday, June 20-21 | 5:30pm-9:00pm

Second Street, Belmont Shore

Join neighbors and friends for the 2nd Annual Belmont Shore Stroll and Savor. During this event, many restaurants along Belmont Shore’s Second Street set up shop just outside their business and offer bite-sized savory and sweet cuisine. This is your chance to try out a new restaurant’s main dish or just treat yourself to a favorite snack. Stop by any of the designated booths to purchase a ticket book and conveniently pay for your edibles with Stroll and Savor tickets. While you savor the eats, enjoy music and other performances/activities by local entertainers. Don’t forget to stop at the small businesses along Second Street to shop and support local makers while you’re there. Movies in the Park - Wonder

This week kicks off the first series of summer movies at the park. Pack lawn chairs, a cozy blanket, dinner and something to sip, then prepare to relax and enjoy the show. Movies in the park is a great way to connect with neighbors for a low-key evening. Often, the hosting park will provide additional entertainment for kids including an obstacle course jumper, corn hole, face painting and more. The movie, popcorn and other park entertainment are free. Willmore City Walking Tour

Saturday, June 23 | 9:30am-12:00pm

953 Park Circle, Long Beach (the west end of 10th Street)

The Historic Bembridge House Home to the impressive Victorian Queen Anne Bembridge House and many smaller examples of this style, Willmore City was the first residential development in Long Beach. This approximately 1.5-mile walking tour is designed as an educational introduction to a cross-section of early 20th-century Long Beach residential architecture. A few of the 1920's revival styles including the Spanish Colonial, Dutch Colonial and Tudor are found in the area. The tour includes an interior visit of the Bembridge House and, in contrast, a fully-restored Queen Anne "workman's" cottage. There is a $15 charge for adult participants. POW! WOW! Long Beach 2018

Throughout Long Beach

This week-long event is a celebration and exhibition of mural and street art. Throughout the week, a selection of artists from around the world will transform designated bare walls into fantastic forms of art. Long Beach is proud to be one of only a handful of cities from around the world that hosts Pow!Wow! Aside from being able to cruise our city and enjoy watching the progress of murals being painted throughout the week, residents are encouraged to engage in Bike Share Mural tours, movie screenings, artist talks and more.
