This Week's Family Fun Events

A Day for The Mamas

Saturday, May 12 | 11:00am-2:30pm

327 Redondo Ave., Long Beach, CA 90814 | Wild Child Party Supply

This event is chock full of amazing mama pampering! Stop in for a quick mani, put together a beautiful bouquet from the pop-up stem bar, sneak in a mini session with your love bug, and enjoy tasty desserts and a light brunch, all from local crafters and makers, movers and shakers. The best part of this event is that you get to be out with your boos doing the mom thing with other Long Beach babes!

Paw Patrol Live!: Race to the Rescue

Saturday, May 12 | 10:00am

300 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach 90802 | Long Beach Convention Center

Lucky us, Paw Patrol Live has made its way here to our hometown, Long Beach! Join Marshall and the rest of the gang as they entertain your little one for at least a couple of hours. This event is sure to be filled with kid giggles, gasps of amazement and that gleam in your child’s eye that you will endure just about anything for. Enjoy this family-friendly event on Saturday and then treat yourself to some “me time” on Sunday!

Mother’s Day 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon

Saturday, May 12 | 7:30am-10:30pm

5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.)

This event is great for any workout enthusiast or even if you’re not that into fitness but want to do something “outdoorsy” with the kiddos. Get your sneakers on and set a good example for the little ones. The 5k option is great for those looking to hit the pavement with kids and be rewarded with a medal for completion. Enjoy this organized morning run then plan to hit the local brunch spots afterward!

AOC7 6th Annual Literacy Fair- Celebrating Reading in Long Beach

Saturday, May 12 | 10:00am-1:00pm

Calling all readers! We love that this is an annual event planned and hosted by a local community group #communitygoals!
